Women's Ministry

Our mission is to connect women together in relationships

Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or

slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women

to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home,

kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.

Titus 2:3-5

Vision:

Our vision is to glorify God and honor his word by living and teaching true biblical womanhood in our community.

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to connect women together in relationships where teaching and training may produce sound doctrine and character that cherishes the Word of God.

Shared Ministry Goals:

  • Together we teach. Support the church’s statement of faith and develop good theology through teaching the Bible. Weak theology makes for weak faith.
  • Together we train. Support the church’s discipleship process by striving for Christian maturity marked by the character attributes found in Titus 2:3-5. Weak character negates accumulated knowledge.
  • Together we transform. Support the church’s vision of true biblical womanhood and the conformity to it despite varied and popular views on femininity.

You Are a TheologianAn Invitation to Know and Love God Well

By: J.T. English and Jen Wilkin

Theology can be intimidating. Perhaps questions like these have kept you from engaging with it: “What is theology?” “Who does theology?” “What happens if I get something wrong?”

Theology can be intimidating. But it doesn’t have to be. Whether conversations about theology have felt out of reach, over your head, or irrelevant, consider this book an invitation to the dialogue.

The goal of theology is knowing and loving God well. This is a lifelong endeavor, a never-ending pursuit, not for the sake of knowledge, but for an ever-deepening relationship with God Himself. Authors Jen Wilkin and J. T. English invite you to become not merely a consumer of theology, but a contributor to the conversation, and to grow in faithfulness to the Great Commission’s call to make disciples.

You are a theologian.

You Are a Theologian addresses theological questions such as:

  • Who is God? The Doctrine of the Trinity
  • What is God like? The Attributes of God

  • What has God done? The Doctrines of Christology, Atonement, and Justification
